(KRON) -- A man accused of shooting a woman on Stanford's campus Tuesday morning was arrested at a Trader Joe's later that day, multiple police agencies said. The man was armed when he entered the grocery store, and he said he planned to rob it. A woman was injured in a shooting around 2 a.m. near Stanford's Eucalyptus groves, the police said. The shooting happened on the 500 block of Arboretum Drive, wounding a 47-year-old woman. The victim was hospitalized with a non-life-threatening injury to her leg, the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office said. (KRON) -- Hundreds of Lime e-scooters will be seen across the streets of Santa Clara, the city announced in a press release Wednesday. Lime received its operating permit and will deploy 300 e-scooters as part of Santa Clara' Shared Mobility Program. Santa Clara's plan is to have up to 450 e-scooters scattered across the city. That includes Lime and Bird e-scooters. (KRON) -- An Alameda County man is accused of violating his estranged partner's restraining order when he threatened to kill her for cheating, investigators said. Jose Terra allegedly stabbed and punched the woman before he kidnapped her on August 26. "An in-person meeting between Terra and his estranged partner allegedly turned violent after accusing the victim of cheating on him," the District Attorney's Office wrote.Terra held the victim hostage inside his home for a week until she was able to escape, investigators said.This week, the district attorney charged Terra with six felonies, including assault with a deadly weapon, battery with serious bodily injury, kidnapping, false imprisonment, and corporal injury to a partner. (KRON) -- Human remains were found on a property in Sebastopol on Saturday, the Sonoma County SHeriff's Office said in a Facebook post Tuesday. SCSO arrested a suspect on suspicion of murder. A deputy was called to the 300 block of Sparkes Road at about 3:05 p.m. Saturday. The deputy confirmed that the remains were human and called for additional resources to search for evidence, SCSO said. Authorities were unable to confirm the victim's identity "due to the extensive decomposition of the remains," SCSO said. Detectives are working with the county coroner's office to identify the decedent. On Tuesday, Dylan Ockerman, a 27-year-old homeless man from Washington, was arrested. The remains are believed to be those of missing Sebastopol man Mark Sullivan, SCSO said. ISSAQUAH, Wash. (AP) — Costco announced Wednesday that CEO W. Craig Jelinek will step down in January. He’ll be succeeded by the company’s president, Ron Vachris, who has been with Costco for more than 40 years.Jelinek has been CEO of the members-only warehouse chain since 2012, when he took over from Costco co-founder James Sinegal. Vachris started with Costco as a forklift driver and worked his way into management.
